Piggly Wiggly, a South Carolina based supermarket chain, uses HR InTouch to simplify the way they train their employee owners. As a retailer with over 100 locations and a diverse range of employee functions, training their multilingual workforce was no small feat. Using HR InTouch, Piggly Wiggly employees can log in and immediately access their job description, as well as training resources tailored to their specific role in the organization – in the language of their choice.
For example, when new Cake Decorators join the company, they log into the portal and go through the training program that has been designed specifically for the Cake Decorator role at Piggly Wiggly. Because the user experience is personalized, employees will only see the information and content that applies to them. They will not have to navigate around training materials for other job roles such as Deli Manager or Cashier.
Bon Secours Health System Example
Bon Secours Health System uses their private-labeled portal, Total Rewards @ Work Online, to serve as a centralized location for employees to access and manage all the benefits-related resources that are available to them. HR Administrators can provide messages to employees through the Member role via HR Notes, and they can also add links to benefit information, affidavits and more.
In addition, HR InTouch houses all kinds of unique content related to benefits and health. Bon Secours employees can access a “Forms Library” that links to any and every form they could possibly need from all of their benefit providers. Employees can access the company’s monthly wellness newsletters, comprehensive information about unique offerings such as the “Advancement in Nursing Program” and quickly learn if they qualify and how to apply for the program.
