On May 18 – 20, Benefitfocus hosted leading technology and benefits experts for One Place. The event was filled with exceptional speakers, interactive workshops, networking opportunities, educational seminars and software demonstrations designed to equip attendees with the knowledge and expertise they need to stay ahead of the technology curve.

Attendees shared their knowledge and experience and received training from the same design and engineering teams that build Benefitfocus software. We also revealed exciting partnership and technology news in our keynote address, delivered by Benefitfocus President and CEO Shawn Jenkins.

Thank you to all of our attendees for making One Place. 2011. a huge success!

Historic Charleston, South Carolina

One Place was held at the Francis Marion Hotel, in the heart of Charleston's historic district. We planned One Place events around client interests, and we covered the topics most important to attendees and their peers. One Place guests also had a chance to explore our fair city and experienced Charleston's award-winning dining scene.

Keynote Address

Benefitfocus President and CEO Shawn Jenkins unveiled the Benefitfocus API, ad hoc reporting tools and Benefitfocus Apps to a crowd of more than 800 attendees and shared the strategy behind the open platform. Watch the One Place Keynote videos.

“Benefitfocus is the industry leader in benefits shopping, enrollment, management and data exchange,” said Jenkins. “By investing in the extensibility of our technology, our customers have access to the best voluntary benefits, wellness tools and financial planning resources, to name just a few."

All apps are now available to Benefitfocus clients, including the Allstate Benefits App, the PayChoice App, the Financial Wellness App and more. For more information, please read the press release.

One Place Sessions and Tracks

At One Place 2011, attendees chose from four conference tracks and selected the one that applies most directly to their area of interest or expertise. For example, the HR & Benefits track was designed for Human Resource directors, while the Technology track interested IT executives and specialists. The Membership & Billing and Sales & Marketing tracks appealed to professionals from our insurance carrier partners.
